Issue 140: Use Time::HiRes Module

Use the above module to restore any itimer settings after using 
alarm().

On second thoughts this will get signal tastic, which is very Unix 
specific and quite frankly you are asking for trouble if you start 
firing off SIGALRM signals in an application to do timed operations.

I am rejecting this ticket.
