Go to preferences order by helper make sure that the *.al entry just 
has emacs abd the *.asc entry has emacs "{file}". Save. 
Then repeat changing in order the *.al and *.asc entries to read 
emacs +{line} "{file}"

Although the preferences are updated correctly the scrolling list 
entries are not.
